I've attached a sample of what the screen should look like. Someone has run something like this on the host - esxcli system welcomemsg set -m="disk".
To reverse the change you can run esxcli system welcomemsg set -m="" or you can change the Advanced Settings Annotations.WelcomeMessage in the vSphere client.
