I fully understand the concepts. What do you see in my configuration that does not comply with the concept, that would make you think I don't understand it?

 

Since I removed the HKEY*.txt files and there are no folders (%TEMP%, %SYSTEMROOT% etc...) there is no need for ##Attributes files, nor for specific registry key settings. The way I see it, it would use the default isolation mode specified in the PACKAGE.INI file, which are both set to merged...

 

In other words, the package ***SHOULD*** see every folder and registry key as if it was native. That's my understanding, and that's what I configured regarding the isolation modes.
