WHat you describe is a very common scenario - each vswitch should have 2 NICs withe ach NIC going to a seperate HP switch - within the vSwitch you will be able to configure NIC Teamins which allows you to select the algorithm as to which NIC is used for traffic and if you so desire have set which NIC is active versus standby - the simplest design:

 

vswitch0 - will have vmekernel ports for management and vMotion - for Management vmnic0 is active and vmnic1 is standby for vMotion vmnic1 is active and vmnic0 is in standby

 

vswitch1 - has your DMZ and vmnetworks utilizing vlans to seperate the traffic - all 4 reminaing NICs will be active utilizing NIC teaming method of Route Based on Virtual Port ID -
