Yes, the VM is on the same subnet as the switch. Heck, it's only a foot away from it since it's all in a blade chassis. No routers involved.

With VMware Player closed, addbios.bootDelay = "5000"to the VM's .vmx file. This will delay the boot for 5 seconds and give you enough time to hit the ESC key. André
